But my wish to improve this is not for myself... neither do I use mbox* (well at least not when fed by postfix) nor do I use local(8) there. I just stumbled across this issue with mboxo recently and it seems that most users are not familiar with it (or that there are actually several mbox formats). I think especially new users with simple setups may often use local(8), because with local users you don't need "complicated" setup with virtual mailboxes and authentication... And especially for them, I think it would be good goal when all systems could move away from mboxo. :) Cheers, Chris.
