postconf -n shows only parameters that are set in main.cf. As a temporary safety net the install procedure will set an explicit smtpd_relay_restrictions value when none is present in main.cf, so there is no problem as long as people cite "postconf -n" output instead of manual cut-and-paste. Wietse
