In case the old system is unusable but the filesystem is still
accessible, I would suggest copying main.cf, master.cf, and any map
files, and the old queue if it is non-empty.
Make sure that the destination postfix version is the same as, or not
too different from, the original one.
"Imap protocol" is not a physical object, you cannot copy it; mailboxes
are not under the purview of postfix but most formats are easily
transferrable.
