don't get me wrong but if someone responds with netstat and do not provide any configuration while a account is appearently used for spamming and has no knowledge about how to change passwords i tend to say better not maintain a mailserver at all we are blocking currently around 450000 spam messages per day and peaks around 50000 per hour - i imagine that most of these are from machines like from the thread-starter these days you must not run a from the internet accessable mailserver without basic knowledge
