Furthermore, I can't find any pointer on the config info page about
"enable_sasl_authentication"

I am using dovecot… with quite "classic" settings;

Should I remove the "enable_sasl_authentication" because other parameters such
as "smtpd_sasl_auth_enable" are activated ?
Is it outdated ?

I have more or less the same kind of question regarding
"virtual_create_maildirsize" and "virtual_mailbox_extended" I am using dovecot
with a MySQL backend and quota are fixed per domain / user in here…

Thanks for your answer.
