As others said you need list your target domain either in mydestination, virtual_alias_domains or virtual_mailbox_domains. Simply setting mydomain is not enough. If you intend to use virtual_alias_domains and don't use many domains you could simply use "virtual_alias_domains = <your-target-domain>", but you should read&understand the concepts explained here:
