Perhaps surprisingly, Postfix can read the queue/config/etc. files
from earlier Postfix versions.
Incompatibilities with earlier versions are carefully documented
in the RELEASE_NOTES* files.
All that time spent writing documentation will save real system
adminstrators a lot of time.
