You can configure syslog_name and syslog_facility in main.cf,
You can configure syslogd to split files by syslog_facility value.
> one for the main log "/var/log/mail.log" and the second for each postfix
> instance eg : "/var/log/posfix-instance2.mail.log"
Sorry, Postfix does not write to the maillog files. That is the
job of the syslog daemon.
