I just noticed that postgrey is listening on localhost:10030. Would it be better to have it listen to a socket?
We've always run postgrey from a socket. It works fine and allows file-based ACLs to restrict access from other users and processes. I don't personally know why application designers tend to use localhost IP ports instead of sockets, it's probably easier to code, but it is also more difficult for end-users / systems admins to secure.
