fsck or whatever Linux RH does to fix filesystems apparently converted "private/scan="
socket to "private/scan" dir, into which we got 2176 Maildir files as orphans.
"private/scan" is not a socket that belongs to a stock postfix
distribution, so presumably this is a custom transport of some sort,
maybe for a content_filter.
If you simply rename the "private/scan" directory to something else,
restarting postfix will re-create the socket if master.cf says it should.
no suggestions how to deliver these orpan Maildir msgs?
As has been pointed out multiple times, the mail has BEEN delivered.
Be careful how you re-inject it, as you may cause bounces and/or loops.
The simplest way would be to make this maildir available via IMAP, and
manipulate the messages with a MUA.
