I was asked 'how to setup iphone with our postix smtp-auth self-issued
certificate server'

does anyone have any instructions for iphone that they would share ?

I don't have an iphone to explore, I borrowed an iphone, tried it myself,
it appears to be self-configuring, as after 2 or three tries, I was able
to send emails, so, for most part, it seems all one needs is
hostname/usernam/password, ? but, what does one need to make iphone accept
self-issued certificate ?

in my attempt it seems that after a second or third try it took the
certificate as 'use this certificate'

but if anyone has proper instructions rather than 'keep trying to send, it
should work after 2 or 3 goes', I'd appreciate
