I don't know why so many of us [Open Source] seem so merry to replace
[finally] one proprietary market dominator with another [technically
*more* proprietary] one.  Baffling.

There are several Open providers of hosted mail solutions [fastmail.fm,
for example] whose infrastructure is Open.
