You previously were discussing *precisely* the problems Timo and the
list had been discussing with respect to NFS caching issues with
IMAP+Dovecot LDA and multiple delivery servers.

The fact that dovecot's pop3 performance may or may not be a little
slower than some other pop3 server is *irrelevant* to the question of
whether or not Timo (dovecots developer).

That said, you said yourself that courier's pop3 was no faster than
dovecots.
