I don't agree with people that start new threads asking questions already
asked and answered, given
It is similar to the recent two week old thread, which since generated into
noise, I would not dare.

Given Timo more or less told that person that dovecot may not be the best
choice for their setup anyway, however he meant it, be it he said this on
the back of not wanting to bother about correcting that issue and just
parming off that poster, or was genuine in that it might not suite them, I
don't know, but it did not look good, I am glad that thread existed though,
because a few things brought out in open I would never have dreamed of being
a problem, and we too may have ended up with corruptions. It is confusing
though because that OP indicated he saw no problems, nor did some other
posters, but, if the risk exists according to its author, then, it is
something that should be addressed, given Timo will not address it, we will,
by not using their software.

To quote Wietse (from a few years ago) which is an excellent philosophy ...

"I'm asking what the assurances are that the code actually works.
As opposed to some piece of crap that just happens to work by
accident most of the time. Proof by "I never had a problem"
is NOT ACCEPTABLE. "

Because I said suggestions /other than/ and all I get is a two page story
on everything I already read on the other list and saying I should use it,
it should have been self explanatory when someone asks for suggestions but
indicates not X, or Y, then people only comment /if/ they have something
worthwhile to contribute, like a recommendation to the question, ie:
another, non mentioned, pop3d.

people like this are borderline trolls, it might be harsh, but that is
reality. since you often back Stan up on other lists and I note you have not
offered any /other/ recommendation, I have waste my time yet again.

How can it be flawed? When the Dovecot author himself admitted the
situation.

Now you join Stan in the troll list, you have been close before from other
posts you made on dovecot list, but thought it might be because you taken a
dislike to some people, but this post just proves it to me you are a troll.

This is now off topic I have had many off list responses and already like
one of the suggestions
no need for you to reply to me, as I don't waste time on trolls

I'm sorry to any other list member who was bored enough to read this post,
but sometimes, trolls need a fresh strong dose of reality coffee.
