But now for my understanding how mail is processed: the qmgr first makes a lookup locally and if not successful he will proceed to the relay-entries? qmgr -> try to deliver local if NOT successful -> try to relay Second question, if the internal mail server now uses the new gateway, which has the new MX-entry, i would assume i need to list the ip in mynetworks? xx.xx.xx.1 gateway (mx) xx.xx.xx.2 mail (internal) mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 xx.xx.xx.2
