Google -does- usually use ESMTP, so it really looks like you have a
Pix running SMTP Fixup, which doesn't fix anything at all.
It can fix the problem of receiving too much mail. :)
It should be noted that the Cisco ASA also has this misfeature, and
reportedly it has also infected other product lines. As I understand it,
they have renamed their attack on SMTP 'inspect' but it is still capable of
efficiently eliminating the nuisance of people sending you email.
I also have heard rumors of other firewall vendors risking legal trouble by
copying Cisco's invention of protecting your email by breaking it, but I
have no hard details...
