Hi,

I'm a relay for a lot of domains and currently I think my server processes every email that it gets, check if its spam or not, and then try to relay it to the destination server and if the user doesn't exist, the destination SMTP-servers says something like: User Unknown. But is it possible to check if the user exists before it process the mail? The destination servers is all different, Exchange, Linux with Sendmail etc etc so I don't have a database of all the existing destination-users on my server. Is there any solution to this? Or is it something I have to setup on my spamfilter?

I use Postfix 2.5.5 with MaiaMailguard 1.0.2

Thanks,
Patric
