As documented in that same manpage section, the original_recipient
feature is available as of Postfix 2.5. The documentation tries to
make no false promises, and at the same time, it provides hints
that might encourage people to upgrade :-)
The ${sender} macro expands to the SMTP "MAIL FROM" address, which
is always singular.
