I’m wondering if there is a script available that will send out an S MS or e-mail message when the postfix mail queue reaches a certain t hreshold, for instance, 100 or 1000 messages.
Sounds more like a cron or logwatch task. Ideally, you would want to monitor the trends for capacity planning purposes and that would provide you with those numbers.
