Thanks for the quick response. The "grep" you suggested was incorrect, since AIX uses 512 byte blocks by default (and ulimit reports in number of blocks), so I needed to grep for "51200000". But once I figured that out, I was able to find the right parameter and fix my problem. Thanks again, Kenneth
