This is odd, the FIFO group is "postfix", not "postdrop" on my system. What is the primary group of the "postfix" user in /etc/passwd? It should not be "postdrop", though I don't think that alone explains the issue. $ getent passwd postfix postfix:x:89:89::/var/spool/postfix:/sbin/nologin $ getent group 89 postfix:x:89: $ getent group postdrop postdrop:x:90: > Any ideas on why this would be reporting above error every few minutes, > when everything seems to be correct? Some nss library is causing "postdrop" to chdir? What the working directory of the process? -- Viktor. Disclaimer: off-list followups get on-list replies or get ignored.
