think defense in depth. at each oignon layer, get rid of part of the unwanted traffic. - at the firewall level, get rid of those "hopeless networks". - at postfix level, reject transactions that should not "occur" (independently of content) - at SA, tag mail based on its content. at postfix level, use zen.spamhaus.org. it is safe and effective. you can also use spamcop and korea.services.net but these won't catch a lot of junk. other lists are better used in SA.
