In point of fact, if it is a spammer sending you the mail, a 450 error is often enough to dissuade them. This is the principle behind greylisting.
However, if these are real mailservers then yes, they will properly and correctly, resend the message.
First off, I would implement hello checks and just outright reject connections form "homepc" or any similar BS.
