Hi Postfix-Group, I am new to postfix and the list. And awkwardly i just have to waste your all time with a maybe simple problem. But i am not able to solve it myself and i didn't find anything useful while searching in the internet.
THE SITUATION: I have a Postfix mailserver on Ubuntu that works as a LAN transporter. Fetching email from ISP multidrop catchall mailbox with fetchmail, hand it over to postfix which stores the mails according to the local part of the email address (before the @) in Maildirs in the home dirs of the appropriate users. This setup runs now for many months without problems like charm with 5 domains in $mydestination. I now get nine more domains added to this ISP (making a total of 15) and i added the additional domains in the $mydestination. I should say i use webmin modul to administer postfix, but also double checked the setting directly via shell in main.cf. I can't see any typo or problem. And the new domains aren't added at the end of the $mydestination. I added them more in logical order, so that the new and old domains are mixed up together in a random order like ( old.de,new.de,old.eu,new.eu,old.ch,new.com, ...). THE PROBLEM: The former domains work furthermore without problems. But all mails to the new domains are not accepted and won't land in the appropriate user Maildir rather they are stored in a "junk" Maildir that i have set up to collect all undeliverable mails (my boss don't like bouncing mails and wants to store them locally in a separate mailbox and dig through them from time to time *sigh*). So i have no idea what i did wrong here or what i should setup correctly more than i have already done or what i should check why this mystery happens. As i said, only the new domains i added lately are affected. The long time domains all works still fine. And of course i stopped and restarted postfix after the change in the config. Any ideas appreciated. Would someone enlighten me, please? If you need more information or some parts of the config file posted, please don't hesitate to ask for it. Thanks in advance for reading, your effort and maybe a solution *Hope mode ON* :-) Greetings Joerg
