Hi Ralf, 2009/6/30 Ralf Hildebrandt <ralf.hildebra...@charite.de>: > DNS seems to be slow. Check the chroot, check the resolv.conf
I've got a DNS server on the LAN doing caching. Local domains return a response within 15msec for a first request and 1msec or lower after that (tested with dig). Neither bind nor Postfix are chrooted. > Signing is done AFTER DATA... Not after RCPT TO: But wouldn't the options set for submission in master.cf be checked after RCPT TO? So if dkimproxy is just slow to accept a connection (could have something to do with trying to run it for 130+ domains) would that interfere at the RCPT TO stage? >> I'm already using amavisd-new with clamav for incoming mail, so I was >> wondering whether that would be better. > > You can try adding it there, it's very simple. Looking at that at the moment and sent a mail to the amavis list about it. If you (or anyone else) is aware of a howto for setting up signing only in amavisd-new I'd appreciate it. The documentation describes the setup for verification and signing, since I don't want verification I'm still a little lost on what's still necessary and what isn't. Will be reading some more in the mean time. Thanks Guy -- Don't just do something...sit there!
