No. DNS lookups are done in individual SMTP client programs, not in the central Postfix scheduler program. The Postfix SMTP client has a few features that are keyed off the remote server's IP address or name (for example, debug_peer_list controls the logging level). This should be generalized so that the sysadmin can control main.cf settings, too. Wietse
