No tricks. If your DNS is dodgy fix your DNS. Otherwise, if their DNS
is dodgy, and you don't have a responsive support contact there, their
problem, nothing you can do about it.
And do keep in mind that DNS lookups sometimes fail because networks are
unreliable, or some server is overloaded, or .... Ideally rarely and
intermittently.
