(there is quick-and-dirty code that does one level of $name expansion,
and that code wasn't clever enough to handle the ${name} form).
ah. that clears up what the 'expansion request' is.
I will fix this, but for now you can drop the postscreen_reject_footer
setting, or avoid using the ${name} form.
