Postfix propagates only a subset of all possible envelope information
through an after-queue content filter. It can propagate DSN 'notify'
options through SMTP-based filters, but not through pipe(8)-to-sendmail(1)
based filters.

Milters would avoid the loss of DSN 'notify'information.
