Hey there folks.
I’ve been debugging a faulty milter, which was crashing due to one
particular malformed message. While trying to figure out how to get it
to core (and replace it with a build with debug symbols), I changed
postfix to change the default milter action to quarantine.
Ergo, my question is: what’s the best way to take the queue file and
convert it back to something which most closely resembles what came in
over the wire? The read generated by postcat has some weird wrapping
and formatting.
man postcat
postcat -beh queue_id
should show original queued mail, | it to another problem :)
