Ok I thought that was what   BUT reloading got me this

 warning: /usr/local/etc/postfix/main.cf, line 752: overriding earlier entry: 
header_checks=regexp:$config_directory/header_checks




I removed the line and removed the “spaced”  debugger command and postfix seems 
to be happy.  BUT I could never find the earlier header_checks it refers to
