Hello Wietse and all others,
Jan 15 21:38:10 butterfly postfix/local[3652656]: 475F8F8AC4C:
to=<ignoret...@butterfly.post-peine.de>, relay=local, delay=2.9,
delays=2.9/0.01/0/0, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered to file: /dev/null)
You want to ADD a recipient with xxx_rcipient_bcc_maps. Done.
Sometimes that added recipient is ignorethis. Done.
You want to DELIVER mail for ignorethis to /dev/null. Done.
Postfix does exactly what you tell it to do.
My intention was the following.
bcc all incoming mail to the admin_bcc.
All but spalertd@ (and some others).
I was - probably - mistaken in using sender_bcc.. _and_ recipient_bcc... WITH
/^.*$/ admin_bcc
as catch-all, especially recipient_... voiding the sender_... exclusion (which
works).
So removing recipient_bcc_maps from main.cf completed what I wanted to do,
following the explaination from Tomasz about orthogonality aspects and
understanding the implications. Probably that was my mental mistake in the
beginning.
Thanks to Viktor for the discard:silently transport approach.
Florian
