Compared to TLS, there is not much changing in the SMTP protocol.
The same can be said about TLS configuration versus SMTP configuration.
Hardware fails rarely, but it does happen.

It certainly is time to start looking at upgrading this mailserver. It's Debian 10, which is EoL now. It's just been SO reliable that I've always put it off. This will probably be the impetus I need to do the upgrade instead of putting it off again.
