Postfix documentation can provide examples of correct Postfix configuration and their logging looks like. It can also cover some mistakes to avoid. However, I think that is unreasonable to ask that Postfix documentation can answer questions about every problem that can happen when an email client talks to Postfix, or when Postfix talks to an email server.
