Hi to all,

My objective is to receive local mail, and act as relay only for a limited

I understand that relay_recipient_maps are not checked if the email is
generated locally trough sendmail[1]. There is a possibility to force the
check?

Yes, submit the mail via SMTP rather than sendmail(1).

You may be able to use the third-party program mini_sendmail as a drop-in replacement for sendmail, but note most programs intended to use sendmail(1) will not respond well to a reject. Also note that any SMTP submission, unlike sendmail(1), will fail if postfix is not running.

Find mini_sendmail here:

or quite likely there's a package for your system.
