The WG isn't opposed but we have a very long list of nits to clean up so I'd rather make the list shorter if as in this case it doesn't matter.
We also have one person (you can guess who) who thinks that sometime in the distant past there might have been a HELP command that returned something useful so who knows, maybe one will again.
