Now I am wondering why I am unable to find any of these messages in my logs:

mail:~# cat /var/log/mail.log | grep -i 203.217.121.52
mail:~# cat /var/log/mail.log | grep -i 3B3311FA41E0

Am I searching for this incorrectly or in the wrong directory? Thanks

I'm guessing that the log has been rotated or you're looking in the wrong log file.

What do you get with:

postconf |grep log

If the results contain:

syslog_facility = mail

What do you get with:

grep mail /etc/syslog.conf
