Hello, When I send a message to an inexistent email address and the receiving MTA is down, like the following example:
av4 mail 16:46:22 postfix/smtp postfix/smtp[27440]: 11BD7750296: to=<abcd...@destdomain.tld>, relay=none, delay=10, delays=0.03/0/10/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (connect to mx1.destdomain.tld[xxx.yyy.zzz.111]: Connection timed out) I don't get any notification about the status of delivery :-(. I don't think that this is normal. Anyway I don't understand if I'm wrong something in my Postfix configuration, or is the receiving part that is missconfigured.. Could somebody help me? rocsca
