You probably need "::1 localhost" in /etc/hosts.
Here is what I have:
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.example.com host.localhost
[here]
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx example.com Host
What should I try changing?
Add the following where indicated above:
::1 localhost localhost.example.com host.localhost
