Confirmed here (ADSL connection in Italy with British Telecom).

Same problem with Firefox on Linux, Firefox on Windows and MSIE7, latest version
of the browsers.

The only difference I noticed is that telnettig port 80 e GETting the page the
last bytes I receive are:
