(copying the list; this went initially out to tôba only) I'm not aware of any any problems — I'm thinking that there probably would not be any, but various packages have "prerequisites" or "support" for 2.3 or 2.2. That is not to say, of course, that they wouldn't work with the latest version, and that's why I asked as I'm new to OpenLDAP.
Good to hear it's working without any problems.. I generally like to use the latest versions of packages, so that's probably the way to go! Ville
