Let's make an assumption that you have listed relaydomain.com in $mydestination 
(which, if you wish to have as a relay domain, should not be listed in 
$mydestination, but should instead be listed in $relay_domains). The transport 
mechanism for this domain is the local: transport mechanism in this case. You 
have overridden the transport mechanism for the domain. It is no longer local: 
it is smtp:
