You have no db. You have hdb, thread_db, gdbm, tdb, and db41. > /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb This is not surprising. Maybe -ldb41 will work. Maybe it will blow up when something else wants to use the default Berkeley DB. What problem are you trying to solve? Is there a problem with the default Berkeley DB library? Wietse
