I run as non-root with SUDO=sudo
I suggest you try the same, it'll show another permission problem.
I agree, there is a problem. ICU makes assumptions that you are root,
wrecklessly using /usr/bin/install during make (not make install). Yet
another thing to go upstream.
Anyway I've patched that away. Grab a new one from the webpage.
Just want to check that you are comment NO_SYSTRACE=Yes in base/Makefile?
Also I feel I should apologise for all of these errors, I am aware
that you probably have much better things to do. Sorry about that.
