How annoying. I scp'd the tarball right off my laptop onto the university web server and it is the same tarball that I am using. Is there any other way that the checksum might differ? The server is a solaris box, does that matter? I should hope not. does tar ztvf [filename] list all of the files correctly? If so, then run 'make checksum' again and try rebuilding the port. I will try redownloading the file now too. -- Best Regards Edd --------------------------------------------------- http://students.dec.bournemouth.ac.uk/ebarrett/
