Recent pkg-version takes an unusually long time. My 12.4-STABLE needs about 5 minutes and 30 seconds for it. My 14.2-STABLE also started to take that much time early on. Probably from the time I installed gpu-firmware. It may be that pkg-ver does not handle this kind of flavor well. Regards.
