There's a known incompatibility between cyrus-sasl-2.1.28 and sendmail-8.17.1 that is fixed in sendmail-8.17.1.9 - see https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=262935 I haven't verified that the problem still exists in sendmail-8.17.1_3 but the problem definitely existed in sendmail-8.17.1_2 and the only change between those versions is the PORTREVISION. Looking at the local patches, neither mail/sendmail nor security/cyrus-sasl2-saslauthd include patches that would make them compatible. -- Peter Jeremy
