Big thanks to all the technical guru's who made this possible and the thread initiator to give some step by step instructions and links to the required files, instructions to allow me and others to get back BBC Iplayer functionality.
I (think) I followed all the instructions in the step by step 1st thread post. Using BBC Iplayer v1.3.1.alpha3 triode plug in - listen live works great. Catch up seems to work well except for BBC R2, which ironically, is what I want it mostly for. Have I done something wrong or is this to be expected? Using BBCiplayerextra v1.8 bpa the same BBC R2 catchup programmes seem to work on BBC R2 that won't work in the triode plug in. NB, I haven't yet gone down the track of installing the dedicated HLS plugin yet. Does that offer any theoretical sound quality / decoding improvement? I use a vista or win 7 computer, LMS 7.7.5, Squeezebox 3, in UK.
