If you, or anyone, has got a variant of ffmpeg which works properly on Raspberry Pi Debian servers I'd be most grateful if you could upload and/or post a link. I'm afraid my Linux expertise isn't up to compiling my own. I have no trouble installing ffmpeg but the current version available simply will not close, leading to multiple instances.
