MrC: Thanks for your comment. I read Andrew's posts #102 and 110 as directing me to take the approach I outlined above. I just now tried setting Connect to Library as "DLNA Media server" but it gave me the same result (my FLAC files are playing but no metadata or cover art transferred). Possibly I didn't give my music library enough time to update. I am a classical music lover and have more than 7500 tracks.
